The pale copy is a book which takes the form of a series of digitized volumes. This book is a collection of photographs and audio interviews that were gleaned while traveling across the United States in 2010. The material gathered and the routes of the trips were heavily influenced by photographers working in the United States during the 20th century.
The first volume is an introduction that consists of a series of landscapes followed by a selection of portraits and audio of the interviews with the sitters.
